Not trying to argue with you, but isn't that normal wear and tear? A seat belt that is damaging a vehicle in 6 thousand miles is not normal in my mind (lots of things aren't normal in there).

I have over 28k on BIX and I don't have any wear marks on either seat.

No Rental Needed!

I got my Sol back in under a day! No crappy rental car!

They had a local guy patch the seat wear.

They did a decent job patching it but since it was right on the seam, you can definately tell where the damage was. I think the deal breaker for me though is when you touch the fixed area it feels like rough sandpaper. The seats are leather and the patch feels like crap compared to the seats.

I am going to contact the dealer to request new seat covers due to the feel of the patch.

On the plus side they are now considering ordering Kappasphere Xtenders as an option to keep this from happening again.

I will update as things develop.

I called the Service Advisor and told him the patch job was not good enough yesterday. he indicated he was going to talk to the Service Manager about ordering the seat cover to just replace it.

On a side note, the dealership did order the Kappaspherre Belt Extenders for me.
