Hello. I just took my 2006 Solstice in re a Service Air Bag light. The technician said that it may be a passenger side module. I understand that this could cost $1000.00 or more? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jerry
Lots of post here on the forum about this problem. If you have minimal mechanical ability you would be well served to do the replacement yourself ( it is not a difficult job) and then go to a dealer or local shop that has a tech 2 or equivalent piece of hardware and have the new module programed to your car. eBay has several new replacement seat sensors for under $350. Most importantly you want to file a complaint with the NTSB as many others have done. Here is a post to help out with the NTSB UPDATED 1/17/2017 Initiate NHTSA Investigation into Kappa Passenger Sensing System - Saturn Sky Forums: Saturn Sky Forum
