The dealer found my starting problem. Apparently it was the fuel pump. Mechanic told me that when our cars are shut off, 60 psi of fuel pressure remains in the lines for when the car is started next. My car dropped to zero which would explain why it fires right up after the initial start as the fuel pump is primed by that point. Now it's maintaining 60 psi. We'll see if this is the final fix.

Reason: Update
I had same problem, check your charge voltage for a common fault, because mine was running low.
It turned out to be the ground to/from engine on the right side of the head. I was messing with my turbo heat shield and did not connect it right.

If this doesn't work. I'll try that.

I have the same problem, it started 6 months ago. I have the car for about 2 years.
The battery is checked (my radar detector also measures the voltage).
I have Vector ECU.
I hope the problem is not the fuel system, because my warranty is over and I know it costs a lot.

The fuel pump replacement is what fixed it for me. Have them check the static fuel pressure. It should bleed no more than 5 psi max. Mine bled off 45 psi in one minute. They have a document number on my receipt, #1829611. Maybe your mechanics can look it up.

Have the same problem, dealer shrugged his shoulders said he would look at it' no resolution.
To be fair my starter starts with a continued ghug chug chug chug and then grabs and starts, happens once out of every 10-15 starts, Battery check is out fine ? I think it's a stuck cylinder key ?

That's what mine did. Have him check the static fuel pressure. The fuel pressure they should check is the pressure coming from the in tank fuel pump (low pressure pump). You might have to leave the car with them over the weekend. Mine was there for a week waiting for a new air dam and I knew they would run into the problem sometime during that week.
Some people have had loose ground issues. Maybe you can have them check those too.
