The Solstice cooler\travel bag fits perfectly in the trunk of the Solstice or SKY and can either hold clothes or use it as a cooler.
You could put clothes in the main bag and use the 2 small bags to keep cold items, all in the back of the trunk with the top down.

So much depends upon whether you intend to put your top down while your trunk is packed or not. There is actually quite a bit of usable space along the sides of the trunk that can be used for packing, but only if you aren't intending to put down the top. If you are a purist at heart....myself being one, and intend to drop your top as much as possible, you are really limited to the back and a VERY small portion of the sides. My wife and I have still gone to the first two nationals, to Kentucky, and to the Dells and have yet to run out of clothes. You just have to plan and pack small. If you don't think you are going to need it, then don't take it. If you aren't going to be gone for three months, then don't take the big bottle of mouth wash There is also quite a bit of space behind the seats that is very useful, but that would be for another thread......

No, you can't stuff a Samsonite hard-side suitcase...BUT, you can stow plenty of small, soft sided bags. My wife and I can easily put enough in ours (we have 2 Solstices) for a 2 week trip. Planning..yes. organization.. yes
But you can put plenty in one, and if you use the area behind the seats, plenty more.
I have been gardening all spring/summer. I have found that I can put 5 bags of 1 1/2 cu ft bags of soil in my trunk. Top always up of course.
I just put one bag on each far side running front to back. Then the other two on each side between the tailights at the back. Then the last one lays flat over the gas tank ( Mayan Temple) ...
It works!!! And that is quite a bit of soil!! 7.5 cu.ft of soil!!! It fills the trunk to the max! I will take a pic the next time I fill it up..but it may be awhile...gardening is done here in Phoenix with the high temps for a month or two.
Another note my 90 year old grandma's folding walker fits in...NO PROBLEM!!!
I know..I see her every week and take her to have her hair done and then to lunch..
You should see the reaction when DarkSol shows up to drop her off!
And she loves the ride!!!

OMG! Soil in the trunk? Never, well, never to be done in MY Sols. We own a SUV which we use on major shopping days. I have to admit, there have been several times in which we had to go back home park the Sols and fire up the SUV when we have botten an item which is larger than a bread box......
But bottom line is ya gotta do what ya gotta do.....

You wouldn't believe how many times I've been asked "Where do you put the golf clubs?" over the past couple months!! I never would have imagined they'd actually fit in the trunk. Guess I've got some good news for those that ask next time!! LOL
On a side note, I've been rather amazed at some of the things I've fit into the trunk. However, some of the stuff I've seen people do through this thread is quite amazing. Never in a million years would I have imagined to put it all in there. There have been often times the fiance and I go to Superstore (major grocery retail in Canada) and come out only to think "Where the heck are we going to put this all?!?" I'm sure if we had done some more creative work, we could have fit it all in the trunk, but A) I love the top down and B) She's more than willing to carry things around her feet, as long as it's not for a long trip.

In all truth, I actually brought my golf club to the Solstice to test it before I bought the car. The misses thought I was crazy, as did the guy I bought it from. We are planning a trip up the coast (left coast) and have her packing all planned out already. Can't wait!
