I would love to see video of some full launches through all of the gears. I'm curious as to whther or not there is any hesitation in the acceleration, and what the 0-60 times would be.

Dam this looks really good. If I hadn't just spent 20 grand on the other car I would be all over this. Yes I said 20 grand and no it doesn't look like I spent that much.

Could have spent half that and had the sickest GXP around.

DAM! I just put $3,500 in a new stereo system in my Intimidator SS! Oh well, the turbo will get upgraded sooner or later, just not now. This little toy sized turbo from the factory is kinda cute, tho. And we DO have the Wester's tune.

I think Im goign to make the new ALPHA Q from Tial an option. I like how it looks/flows.SWEEET!
I have to find out pricing and determine the best/most inexpensive way to integrate it and show off it's bling at the same time..

Thanks! by the time your coupe comes out we hope to have the motor turning almost 8Kprm. THe GT35R should be a low/no cost option pending on Tial's current housing pricing for those looking for 10second power from 4000-8000rpm.

See Page one overagain, there are some changes as we have brokered a deal with Wester's agarage to handle the entire electrnic end of these kits.
NOW they are fully complete and ready to do battle!

As soon as I get the super killer RPM flash back from him , I'm going to wring our GXP's freakin neck'.
400whp!! bet on it.

That's awesome BTF. The problem before was that this kit had potential power numbers. Once we can see documented power at (or near... is Westers fixing their current 23psi limit?) the kit's full capability, it'll be a lot easier to pull the trigger.

I have a unique situation. I already purchased a Westers tune... and am not that interested in the turbo RPM. Have enough gauges What sort of credit could I get for already having a Westers tune and just needing a refresh (which I think are free) and turbo RPM delete? I use HPTuners to flash the Westers tune.

Thanks!
Russ

Russ,
We're going to have to talk to Lyndon about how he want to handle folks in your situation.
He stressed to me that the easiest and therefore default way to handle our software/hardware partnership is that he will be just handling the PCM's directly.

We are working together developing the tune using my car & dyno for all my packages. He then has the proper calibration "on the shelf" for my products for you to purchase from him. Perhaps with a discount, perhaps not we havent gotten that far. Only that we have agreed to work together on this project.
At the very least BTF racing Inc. will be providing you with a prelabeled box all ready to ship for your PCM.
Since you already have his race tune, I'm not sure what his policy is on reflashes.

I sure hope the reflashes are easy and free... I paid $650 for HP Tuners, only to find out they didn't provide full access to the ECU, so I then paid a similar chunk of cash for a Westers tune that includes free updates for new car mods. I imagine your kit counts as a new mod. :-)

Also, one thing I noticed in the photos of the kit install: It looks like the Silicone hose coming off the turbo outlet is kinked a bit right where it joins the turbo outlet. Looks like the outlet pipe needs to be rotated to the right a hair more to form a straight path to the hose. Is this being done on production kits?

Thanks!
Russ

You have a sharp eye Russ! yes the fixture has an additional 5deg built into the compressor outlet for a straighter shot.
Truthfully you can orient the hose to get rid of the kink as is, but I dont like how it puts the elbow.

On the reflash, it sounds like your golden.

Cool on both counts. So what's the price minus the Westers tune & Turbo RPM sensor? You can PM me if you like.

Thanks!
Russ

I'll knock $325 off for not wanting the turbo Tach.

The westers tune is a seperate cost and is not included in my pricing in any way. He has simply agreed to provide and have the calibration on the shelf for anyone whom has bought the kit. And since he offeres free upgrades if you were planning on buying the westers tune, it will still be money well spent when you get yor GT30 setup (or stock turbo wheel upgrade). You simply have him reflash you for your new goodies when the time comes.
You dont have to purchase it to enjoy your GT30, the Maf transfer for the 4" pipe is posted and can be easily loaded into the stock cal by anyone with HPT.

But If you want all the power and RPM + a super smooth tune Lyndon's gonna have you taken care of.
