When vendors will compare their best dyno's with the stock turbo and btf's turbo you will see where this turbo shines. Remember btf ran that dyno upto 7400rpm, the hp just started to dip at 7000rpm while the stock turbo starts dying at 5500rpm.

Were those runs done with increased boost from 4500+ or at stock boost?

Thanks. I honestly could not tell on the dyno graph which curve was which. That explains it. That's the power curve I would rather have in my car.

I am hoping this will start taking place sometime next week, if BTF has my turbo back from Swaintech.

If you are a tuner Vendor please try to get in touch with BTF to get this Big Wheel upgrade tested with your tune.
We have now at least some kind of base line from BTF's Dyno pulls.
By the way 295 RWHP is 354 BHP at the crank.
I believe you need to get info from BTF when you start the testing.

LV make sure all those vendors who get to toy around with this turbo run it past 7000rpm, no point in just going to 6300.

That is the reason they need to communicate with BTF.
He has a lot of things he has tried and done.

Wouldn't it make sense that Wester's should be the first in line?

That's probably a good idea but then PCM won't be able to get his tune done until next year.

Alvaro's turbo is all ready. PM sent!

Just as a FYI, Swaintech has about a 2.5 week turnaround right now.

I'm getting ready to hang my BW on a cobalt SS/tc this afternoon. Should be interesting to see what the WHP difference will be FWD/RWD.

yo bro......you don't offer "core" exchange right?

If not........It's kinda sucky that I only have one car. If I do this upgrade, I'll be stuck with an expensive rental for at least 3 weeks

It would really be cool if you offer a core exchange!!!

Swaintech is nice, but not required. Esp since our housings are cast stainless.

Someone has left a message on our phone about having a core for sale, but I have been super busy so I havent gotten back to them yet.

Brandynew ones would be a good way to go. From the looks of things re-builds will be nessicary on almost every unit.

Out of curiosity, why are they needing to be rebuilt?
