Yes, you would take your KO4 turbo off and send it to BTF.
He will do the upgrades and returned it to you.
You then have to bolt it back on in the car but BTF will supply you with detail instructions for doing it.
Hope this helps.
I am sure BTF will elaborate more on this for you in case I'd missed something.

Well I have pricing for everyone. The total to have your turbo "bigwheel'd" will be $829.99.

That is assuming your turbo is in good shape. If it's wiped out or needs bearings we will contact you with an approximate repair cost.

Thats includes
Disassembly, inspection
CNC machining of the compressor housing to fit the 3.4mm bigger wheel.
Reassembly and balancing of the rotating assembly on a state of the art balancing machine.

Powdercoating: any color on the compressor housing add $45.
Swaintech on the turbine housing:add $75. (this one increases lead time- I'm at their mercy)

How long does it take? Is it something that we can bring the car to you and you can do in one day if everything is ok.

It will provide another 50-60hp at the flywheel up top. Your new wheel flows 6lbs/min more.

I'll get there. I'm still wringing the Gt30R's neck. Ive hit a solid wall at 43-45lbs min.

The idea of going backwards 75-100hp makes me yawn....lol.

But by all means, wait. I understand completly.

But for the more spartan variety of folks, the process is in place, it's all borg parts and you may have one at will.

Is that the biggest wheel that you found that will fit in there?

It's the biggest wheel that is the same quill dia and wont overstress the shaft.
If I go bigger it will cost us in reliability.

Can you run this on the stock tune? Say, I do the upgrade and years later I sell the car. Will I have to return the turbo to stock?

No need to go back to stock, Chances are noone will ever notice whats been done to the turbo. It will run just fine (okay it will have some extra Zoot) with the stock tune.

Hell the GT30R ran fine on the stock tune, aside from the needed MAF transfer changes.

Let me re-iterate this is going to provide gains for those that are stretching out another 1K rpm and 21-23psi.
Will make an improvement at stock boost pressures? Likely, but I stress that this will make the most gains for those that have maxxed out the stocker.

Is the price with the Westers tune or will that be extra to wring out another 20 or 30 BHP for a total of 70 to 80 from stock.
I have the stock IC, but a better exhaust, K&N filter and the Dejon spring(will that have to be taken out) what RWHP and BHP should I expect from your upgrade.
Is there any kind of warranty from you?.

Also, does this include replacement gaskets? Not sure if the stock turbo uses gaskets or if they're one-time-use.

Thanks!
