Thats the plan man!

I'm kinda hoping that the data presented will entice a seasoned turbo guy to buy my (personal) turbo. That way I wont have to dirty it all up putting it on my car just for a few dyno pulls.
The best part is it's all borg warner stuff, and it's within their trim selection so we are not putting together something they havent before. Well except our specific housing configuration.

The only thing I see that could be a problem with an exchange would be if I request the following.

Swaintech on the turbine housing:add $75. (this one increases lead time- I'm at their mercy)

All I am waiting is for some Dyno runs.

So...how well would this upgrade work with the pcmforless or GM Roadsters tune? What hp can we expect? I ask because im getting a Dejon IC hopefully next week, and then im also going to get the GM roadster tune.

You'll need a tune specific for the wheel upgrade to take full advantage of it.

PCMforless and GMroadster are willing to work with BTF to extract the most out of this combination.

You will have my compressor in December, but, we still need an answer on the Westers tune. Currently I have his tune and also have HP Tuners. It would seem that the programming changes would be minimal at best?

Yes, for the most part some simple changes to the airload an max torque tables will net you a handsome gain above 5K with little or no changes below.

But a really well devloped tune done by a pro with a loadcell dyno would be ideal for the average user/novice tuner.

Since you already have wester's tune, he can send you an update for the bigwheel combo.
Then you can make tweaks with hpt for your combo's needs.

Base on the above did Westers get your upgraded turbo with the new wheel and Dyno tune it to his race tune for both 2007 and 2008?.

I have to touch base with lyndon to see if he's done with the 08' stock tune yet.
Then I will send him an upgraded turbo to work his magic.

Im going to stick my stock+upgrade wheel on come tuesday, the gt30 ate something yucky. the tall blades look like a rock went thru so it's going to need a new compressor wheel.
Lol the turbine get soo hot from the way I beat the hell outta it they are carbonless.. little brake clean made 'em look like new after 10k.

But in the mean time Im building a 3.5" exhaust from the turbo flange back.
