Tomorrow I'm going to stick the Wheel upgraded stocker on there and let 'er eat!
Likely I'll take it back to the track if I can this week.

If you can post a log of a 3rd gear pull from like 1500rpm all the way to 7000rpm that'd be great, i'd be able to see where this wheel kicks in compared to the stock one and how much more it flows up top.

so big 16g = 550cfm and this is at 530?? That is sweeeet! I wont even have to bother with an install kit. This might be my xmas present.

love my new place, hate the ground it's built on....it has cost me 4x what I thought to just dig a hole.

No construction this past week since we had a big party for labor day.

The ground holds water so well that I have a pond in the dynopit from rain that occurred a week ago.. unbelieveable. Clearly I will need a sumppump in the hole.

I better get crackin' nights are starting to get cold up here..

"PATTY" is a somewhat modded '08 GXP, and like alot of ladies... she wants more!!

"Caddie Weather" will be here for me before much longer and I can send you my turbo to upgrade. She'll be hibernating for a bit, so there'd be no rush for either of us. I don't have a "tune" yet, been waitin' for an '08 one, so your upgrade is the most logical "First" in my book. Add someones larger IC while she's down, get her a "tune" and badda-bing, badda-boom!!! when she wakes up.

I have an announcement to make PLEASE.
I am calling ALL the Supporting TUNER vendors to participate in my plan, and together with BTFRacing will give the Solstice\SKY membership, a performance solution that when weight against performance vs $$$ spend, will be a win win situation, not only for the owners but also for the Tuner Vendors.
Here is the PLAN.
I will be sending a GXP Turbocharger(GM KO4) to BTFRacing, this Stock turbocharger will get the new upgraded wheel and it will also be Swain Tech.
Once BTFRacing is finish with it, the upgraded turbocharger will be offer for a period of 15 days, to each Supporting tuner Vendor on the forum.
Starting with PCMForless if Alvin\Bryan want to take advantage of this offer and ALL others.
They can have the upgraded turbocharger and for 15 days they can develop tunes for our 2.0 LNF motor. I would like for them to develop tunes 1st using ALL stock hardware except for the Upgraded turbo of course, then they can add what ever extra components they would like to certify with their tune.
Next PCMForless will send the Upgraded Turbocharger to GMRoadster (Martin) and the same scenario of 15 days etc.
From there I would like for Dejon (Dave) using Lyndon's Westers tune and his Dejon IC to incorporate the BTF Turbo upgrade with this tune and any additional pieces they would want to test and offer to the membership.
I will also make the offer to Lyndon if he feels the need to test it in his own facilities in Canada.
I would also like to have Vector Motor Sports another of our Tuner Vendors participate, however they will need a couple of cars to be able to incorporate their tune with BTF Turbo upgraded wheel.
Finally I would like to challenge Hahn from Hahn Racecraft to send his IC with the BTF Turbocharger upgraded wheel, so those members that would like to have his IC, the tuners can also offer this combination.
I also do not want to leave RPI out of the equation, so if they would like to participate on this PLAN they are also welcome to have the BTF Turbo upgraded wheel turbocharger.
After ALL Tuners that want to take advantage of this PLAN are done, then the last one will return the Turbocharger back to BTFRacing for inspection and then finally back to me.
I truly hope that ALL the above mentioned Supporting vendors take advantage of this plan.
I am using the 15 days or 2 weeks for each tuner so they have ample time to develop tunes for different years(07/08/09) and also 5 speed vs automatic.
If they feel 15 days is not long enough we need to come up with a reasonable time table, so tunes can start been offer to our membership ASAP.
My expectations are, that after this is done, we will have tunes that will give our cars, the stock power of a LS1(350 BHP), LS2(400 BHP) and the LS3 (430 BHP).

Let's hope Dejon, Westers, Vector Motor Sports, RPI and Hahn will also participate, this way the membership can pick from the Supporting Tuner Vendor they feel more comfortable doing a tune for their GXP\RL.

BTF, I only have a BSR tune, and I'm wondering if this upgrade will be compatible to my set-up?

any gxp/RL w/ BSR tried this yet?

Just to let everyone know the Turbocharger was shipped today to me via UPS from PA, should arrive in West Palm Beach by Friday.
I will then ship it to BTFRacing to start the process.

This is kinda a dumb question but how is this thing gonna run on a stock tune. The joy of this mod to me is that the dealer wont be able to see it but if it runs like crap on a stock tuned ECM it would be a problem for services at the dealership. In addition Im planning on getting this but dont know when Ill be able to get the car onto a dyno to properly tune it.

I wonder if the computer will reign in the boost and timing to keep it with in stock perimeters anyway.

I'm so lookin forward to some dynos with this mod!
