Been looking at the Pro-kit for my 2008 GXP. I've noticed it on your web site before. Any special discount for forum members?

I figure since they specify a difference in their cataloge, they won't work but I will try to get a hold of them today to find out for sure. They should be open now but every phone number I call is busy.

According to Eibach, due to the weight difference/ distribution in the two vehicles the springs are rated accordingly and should not be intermixed.

I don't know if this thread sparked from or if you have been following this thread, ( Need best Basic lowering ) but thank you for posting this. you may have jsut very well solved the puzzle I have been dealing with on my car. I didn't know there were two sets for the GXP and the N/A. I ordered the Eibach kit from Kappasphere 1" front and 1.3" rear. It says it is compatible with all four of the KAPPA models but having the front drop 4 inches kind of confirms that these were designed for the N/A models only and will not support the GXP front end.

I feel much better now. Thank you for identifying a difference between the turbo and N/A types.

Thanks. I kind of feel like I wasted 250 bucks now by getting the wrong ones and it has been way to long to even attempt returning them or having them help cover the nose repair from the bottom out. Had they been the proper product it would not have been that low to hit. Oh well, that's the life of trying to mod a new model with limited parts available. Maybe I'll take the back ones back off too and sell the set cheap to try and recoupe a bit to buy the right ones.

Not a bad idea about taking them off and selling them for the right ones. 4" is a huge drop how did it align or did it?

It was only a matter of days since I had gotten it out of the shop having the kit and other stuff installed when I found the deep hole in the dark. I hadn't taken it in for the allignment yet but just eye balling it it was not that bad but in reality I probably only had about 15-20 percent of the tire on the ground firm on the inside. Nothing an allignment wouldn't have corrected. No rubbing either as it was but may have once they straightened it out.

No. The springs are perfectly fine. A couple scuffs from the install only. I was only doing maybe 5 miles an hour through a parking lot and the nose hit the road when I dropped in the hole and cracked on the passenger side. There not doing me any good really so I'd be fine with letting them go for 175.00 and I'll pay for shipping out of that total also.
