Here's an old article from 2003 that equates Solstice as the possible Corvette of the 21st century. High hopes for GM.

Maybe it's the Camaro of the next century. One that is more in touch with the market than the last one.

It doesn't seem to be in the same league as the vette, But in it's own way, I think it turned out better.
