GM has picked up on the story and is running a two day / two part story.

Forum mention and link to slide show posted by Solsticeman.

Didn't see it before, so started a new thread instead of adding to the back of one of the USA Today story threads.

P.S.: The FYI Blog is a good one to bookmark and check every once and a while. Good stories and pictures.

We were again shocked when we got home from last minute KC meet shopping to find out via email from Gayle Weiswasser that this article had been posted on the GM FYI Blog. We had been in contact with her last week after she tracked us down through the USA Today.

Of course we mentioned our friends here at the forum. Without the forum, finding my "solmate" Anne wouldn't have happened.

We felt very honored and priveledged and aren't used to getting much publicity. We're just ordinary folks with extraordinary taste, like the rest of the Solstice owners on here.

"Solsticeman" is just my putfile login name, thx for posting this thread, Small Dealer.
My "Solmates" slideshow that was made with that lousy Windows Movie Maker program that comes with XP and frequently locks up can be found at the bottom of my posts.

K.C. or BUST!!!

Lloyd

FYI Sol_man and I just heard from the editor of the GM blog and they want us to do a story and pics from KC .... They loved the positive story for GM ... Let's all put our heads and "Sols" together and come up with something the rest of the world would be interested in reading....Looking forward to meeting everyone in just a few days!!!!!
