Just a reminder that the last issue of Hot Rod Magazines three part story of a built LS7 (585 hp) added to a carbon fibered Solstice done with GM's engineering help is at the news stands now.

Performance specs:
LS7 Solstice
1/4 mile...10.99 sec @133 mph
600' slalom...74.9 mph
braking 60-0...95'

Corvette Z06
12.0 sec @124 mph
70.8 mph
110'
$69,000

Lamborghini Murcielago
11.7 @133 mph
66.2 mph
110'
$284,850

Porsche Carrera GT
11.1 sec @133 mph
73.2 mph
101'
$448,300

Ferrari Enzo
11.0 sec @133 mph
71.0 mph
106'
$652,830

So the Solstice soundly beat them all in Acceleration, Handling and Braking. These numbers are from Motor Tend's road tests. But I'm sure they spent a lot more than the Z06's list price. (Interesting statistical anomaly that 4 of the 5 cars had quarter mile exit speeds of 133 mph.)
