Hello everyone,
Received a couple of free mags from Grassroots Motorsport. They seem to have alot of articles on the Miata and a few other marques. Is there a magazine that concentrates more on all sports cars and possibly on our SOLS? I'd like to read about what our cars do in various races. I don't get speed channel or any of the other car channels so the magazine that highlights our type of racing and driving would be nice. Thanks for any and all input. We really love this car.

Thanks for your responses. I used Motor Trend and Car years ago. I doubt that they've changed much --- alot of hype for the teenagers. I've never heard of 0-60. What's it like? Format and types of coverage? Website address? Have you ever used Automobile magazine? Sport and Classic is pretty good, but they concentrate on older sports cars. Any other mags that you might hear about would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Grassroots Motorsport is actually the best magazine to get if you actually care about real info in races with our car. The other rags just have marketing BS and rumors, GRM has build setup and race results from various races. They talk about the Miata more because it's very cheap true Grassroots type car.

Thanks, Brentil. Is there a magazine devoted to AX or is it usually mixed in with other races? Sounds like a dumb question, but I know NASCAR pretty much has a mag devoted to just stock car racing. I've kept your AX notes and will be checking out a local club in the next couple of weeks.

There are a couple mags put out by SCCA that cover it slightly. GRM covers it more than most of the others. Auto-x is unfortunately not big enough it seems to warrant it's own magazine, it doesn't pull in the crowds or money really. Most SCCA chapters just try to break even as is with events.
