I was at the Veterans Hospital for an appointment today and the staff was passing out Flyers.
which stated the following:

Attention Veterans and Active Duty Military! All Veterans & Active duty personnel are invited to eat FREE at ANY Applebee's Restaurant located across the United States on Veterans Day, Nov 11, 2009.

Must provide proof of service: U.S Uniformed Services Identification Card, U.S Uniformed Services Retirement Identification Card,Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Veterans Organization Card or Photograph in uniform or wearing full uniform.
