Toy, please read about this email on snopes.com: Urban Legends Reference Pages, it's been going around for years and some parts are just BS.

You might decide to edit some of your post after reading what Snopes has to say:

I'm sorry to say that Citgo is headquartered right here in Houston!

If I run out of gas, I will walk past a Citgo station to any other station, whatever price they're charging. Never a drop of Citgo shall be ingested by my darling MariSOL.

Simon Bolivar is the George Washington of South America, he is the greatest hero down there. I've visited his home in Bogota, Colombia, my wife's country. General Bolivar must be turning over in his grave to see Chavez using his name, as if Chavez is the reincarnation of Bolivar.

How irrelavent. After firing anyone with oil experience and throwing them out of the country, I give it 10 yrs before Citgo falls over on itself. Chavez is all talk, nobody else in the world can handle his dirty crude, but he likes to rattle about stopping selling to the US or marking up prices. Meanwhile he has no other customers! I love the suggestion that Iranians are running his refineries. The author of this email has no idea how piss poor a middle east refinery runs. No need for efficiency when oil is dollars per barrel and natural gas is a flared waste product.

The give-away for me was the mention of the production facility of the "AK-47"...as well as the cut and paste chain letter format...

But as far as the "AK-47" goes, it is much more likely they would go with the lightened, more modern current production like an AKM, or even the AK-74 variant in 5.45x39mm. The AK-47 was adopted in 1949 (designed in...you guessed it, 1947) as the USSR's standard assault rifle; it makes little sense to me that half a century later, a production facility for this ancient weapon is news-worthy. Chavez getting this level of weapons technology would be like him getting access to jet planes in 2010

Citgo/Citco gas is CRAP anyway! Only use Chevron or Shell because they add stuff like Techtron to help keep your engine running clean. Never use cheap gas no matter how high the prices get. Your engine will last longer.
