Frist off that's not a Z4. The top car is a M6 convertible and the victim looks just like a basic 3 series.

I didn't photoshop that....
and I pulled it off a BMW site
D2 ... don't think anyone is accusing YOU of photochopping but with the limited amount of damage done to the car - I question the likelihood of this being an "actual" event.
If it *is* a photochop it is a good one! Just don't see a full sized deer only entering thru one side and NOT doing damage to the front fascia, crossbar support, and other under hood items.
If it DID happen the odds have got to be astronomical!

Don't be so sensitive-you got it from several other car forums, who knows the truth? Not you, not I, but a white tail or mule deer would never fit thru the grill as shown. That much is reality.

I am not so sure of that...for one thing it was mentioned this was on the Autobahn...the speeds are unlimited there. For the other thing, I would have to research the species of deer there. Here in AZ there is a prevalent species of a very small whitetail deer known as Coues Deer. There body mass is equal to or less than an average large to medium dog. I could certainly see a small deer entering the grill area at a high rate of speed certainly ending up as the pictures portray. And even if a small species of deer does not exist in the area of the incident..it could have been a fawn or juvenile. At this point I would say most likely genuine.
In fact indeed it was a small species of deer...it was a Roe Deer... very small....found this blog regarding same incident: DEER Hit on AUTOBAHN ???
