It looks like Disaster custom paint job Solstice has a new owner.
I was walking through a neighborhood during lunch time (in Timonium MD.) and saw it at a distance moving away from me. It was too far away to verify that it was disasters old car...but....what do you know...at the bottom of the street it was parked at a business complex. It has new temp tags and a pink breast cancer logo hanging off the rear view mirror. There is no mistaking that paint job and wood grain interior.
The new owner was not around and I don't have any forum cards to leave. Maybe I can catchup with them during another one of my lunch time walks.

Carry a card with you and definately drop it on them, that car has a history, and I know disaster has a full set of pictures of the repaint.

Yep, I saw it on Auto-Trader as well. I thought they did a nice job with the ad!!
I provided the dealer with a complete set of re-paint photos (before, during, after) on a CD as well as business cards to the shop that did the job.
It will always be my baby....sorta like giving away your daughter at a wedding. I still have a huge 18" x 24" print of my baby on canvass hanging in my office along with my 8 trophies (three First Place!).
But now I have a GXP and as I told my wife......it's just an empty canvass waiting for a custom job.
I have about a dozen ideas for this car. My wife insists on picking the interior on this one.
Stay tuned folks!
I hope the new owner joins the forum. What a blast.
