So I had to come out to San Fran to do a little "House Cleaning" with my job. First I had no ideal how long the flght was from Atlanta. I had two big guys on each side of me on the plane and so I had to sit straight up for nearly 5 and half hours. Flew into SFO and gathering my luggage was not a big deal, actually alot quicker then I had imagined. Getting the rental car is a different story. Had to stand in the longest line ever. Finally got the car and was on the road (thank God for Garmin). Found my way out of SFO no problem at all. The first sight I saw was what I thought was the longest bridge I have ever driven on. This was I think 92 heading towards the 101.
Then I made a wrong turn and ended up in the little town of Hayward.
Little hint as to who I work for.
I was amazed that there was a vineyard in the front yard of our corporate office.
Spent the day Friday making nice with the VP's on the golf course.
Yesterday I decided to take in some of the sights of downtown SF.
Amazing!
Wow!
Wishing I had my Sol!
A little foggy out.
Watched the sunset on Summer Solstice.
I had a great time down at Fisherman's Wharf. Saw some very interesting sights. I'm heading back down there in just a few and this time I plan to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Location: The avatar shows my motivation to work .... Work takes place in Houston, Republic of Texas .... Motivation takes place in CA, NV, UT, CO and similar locations.
How nice to combine pleasure with your business trip.
New York City- The Big Apple
Chicago- The Windy City
Miami- The Magic City
Philadelphia- The City of Brotherly Love
San Francisco- THE City
plain and simple, eh?
And don't call Hayward a little town. In the 1950s it was the third fastest growing city in the country. Oh, and one more thing: I was born there. Well, try not to hold that against the city.
Enjoy that beautiful region. Don't forget Lombard Street, the street with SO many curves in one downhill block.

Yes Giz I will admit, not so little of a town. There were lots of twist and turns though getting through there. But so far everyone else on the road has been very patient. I guess they are used to tourist not knowing where they are going and cutting across 3 lanes of traffic.
Rental car - First I was in a Pontiac Grand Prix. Nice for a big car but the 2nd day I had it the engine light came on and it went into reduced power mode. So they brought me another car. Now I'm in a Chevy Impala. I don't like it!!! I want my Sol back.
Location: here or there, depending on one's perspective
If you have a little extra time go check out Golden Gate Park and the Presedio. I would also recommend seeing the Giants at AT&T, but they're on the road now until next week. Saw the Tigers there last week and had a blast. It was great taking in a game with other humans, not those degenerates over in Oakland
Location: Marietta SC but hail from Guelph Ontario Canada
Great pictures Kim, that is one place I have yet to go that is on my list. Be careful and I will see you Thursday morning.......I got lots of goodies for the cabana!!

Yeah, the Impala looks much better than it handles! (My Army car is a 2008 Impala)
BTW, the Traction Control Button is to the left of the steering wheel .... but I bet you found that already.

I'm back in Georgia, YEAH!!!!!!!!!! But only long enough to pick up the new baby and head to the dragon. I leave to go back to SF on Sunday. Seriously thinking about upgrading my rental to a Solstice only thing is, I worry about the smoke with all of the fires there. I'll have to play it by ear and see if they've died down by the time I get back.
