Well, on April 2 I ordered a Club Sport optioned Splstice. The factory picked up the order, build week was to have been May 04. I say "WAS" because due to the continuing strike at American Axle (here's the link... American Axle Strike Update | WKBW - TV Buffalo, New York | Local News )
the build has been postponed "a week". Hah ! Seems like this union has well and truly learned how to use GM's "just-in-time " inventory practices to best advantage.

Anyway, since the factory was in "build-out" mode, with all standing 08 production orders scheduled to end in mid-June, I can see where this is headed..... No car. Since I am set on the Club Sport, and there are none in any dealer inventory anywhere, I suspect that
my dealer will try to steer me to anything he can find, but it's "No Deal, Howie...."

What part of the Solstice is built at the American Axle plant? My GXP was built last week.
