Contrary to popular belief, mine has nothing to do with drinking beer.

A long time ago, my dad and I were joking around about how japanese cars are sometimes called "rice burners". I asked what we'd call a german car and he said "A beer burner." Since I love german cars, I decided to go with that name.

I'm a Marine so smprfi is short for "semper fidelis" the moto of the Marine Corps. Add to it 1978. The year I enlisted.

Hi. I'm brand new as of this very minute and I don't see a "welcome new person" thing so will say hi here. I don't actually have a Solstice yet but plan to get one later this year. I do have a 2004 Ford Thunderbird, though, so hence the name "Sunbird". I'll keep the Tbird when I get my Solstice.
It's great to be here and I look forward to learning about this wonderful car that I've been admiring and lusting after ever since it came out.
There sure are a lot of you here---had several of my prospective names rejected! Anyway, looking forward to learning more about the car and visiting with all of you guys!

I chose my name (same as my plates on the car) because Sun refers to Sol. Brn is short for burn (which is the color red on my skin when I get them). Basically being pale white and of Irish descent, I will be sunburned the entired season I have to top down here in Vegas.

SUNBRN= sunburned to match the color of my car

I use Go-N Def on all the forums I'm on. It's the license plate on my Explorer. I got it after a self-install of over $6000 in stereo equipment...

Ok I had to chime in, now that I've finally read the entire string.

King-oka is our kennel name (Akitas) and has a few meanings for us;

King - Akitas were originally owned by only the aristocrats and powerful in Japan (origin)
Oka - Means mountain in Japanese

King-Oka = King mountain. Where we live is at the base of a mountain called "King-Edward mountain.

Oka - also short for Okanagan - our region in central British Columbia

BTW our e-mail is king-oka@shaw.ca if anyone cares, and if you google king-oka, you'll find our kennel web site.

OK...the obvious is that, yes, I am a blonde, however, instead of just being 'yellow' (or even 'mean yellow') GXP, I chose BlondeGXP, since blonde can be a synonym of yellow!!

Mine is related to the motorcycle I used to race. YamaTD3 Yamaha is short for Yamaha and TD3 is the model of bike. I love this screen name as it has never been taken on any site I have been to.

This one is easy.......my user name is treborwhip. My last name is Whipple (no Charmin jokes please!) and everyone calls me Whip.

My first name is Robert. Robert spelled backwards is trebor. So, I combine robert spelled backwards with whip and come up with treborwhip.
