Four years ago my mother's neighbor called me to say he had just cut open the wall in my mom's kitchen to rescue 6 trapped kittens. We took the babies home and nursed them with a bottle, cuddled them, watched them play and fell in love with them. All got names except for the little frail runt of the litter, an orange tabby who looked like he might not make it. My wife, Denise, kept referring to him as "the little orange guy." The name, shortened to Little O.G., kinda stuck and officially became Lil' Oggi a short time later. Oggi is the Italian word for "today" and Lil' O was playing it day by day.
Fast forward two years, the little kitty is healthy and happy, (still the runt) and we take possession of a brand new orange sports car, the smallest of all our cars. The car was named to celebrate the cat and the principle of hanging in there, every day, living for today. What other name would I use on the forum?

I have owned many awesome cars in my lifetime that I consider cars my FETISH. A shoe fetish would be cheaper!

I LOVE the story about the little yellow kitty. I have a tabby that is champange color, lighter shade of yellow.
Last year she was living under a mobile home. My daughter called me from her cell and told me that Gary, her freind, was being driven nuts by this cat that wanted inside his home.
Just two weeks prior I had sent my kitty, Punkin, to Rainbow Bridge. Punkin was 18 years of age and her health was failing rapidly.
I had said I would NEVER have another cat. We have four dogs and the thought of bringing another kitty into a home to adjust to four dogs was not appealing for me.
Long story short...... Matilda Louise is what I named the kitty that I didn't want...lol She walks proudly past all the dogs and we could easily have named her The Intimidator.

As some of you know, I originally joined as Brazen Orange. I really liked that name and since no one had it at the time, I went with it.
Lost interest in the name when others would abbreviate it as BO. I thought it was time for "change"... especially since I am not a fan of the president and no matter what the abbreviation stands for or how you spell it... BO STINKS!!!
This got me to thinking....
The technical name for the color of my GXP is Brazen Inferno Orange... That gives me BIO
Hazard pretty much sums up my driving skills
Now you combine that with the fact that I was pretty much born sick (at least it feels like it some days) BIO HAZARD just fit all the way around.

My last dog we found by the side of the road - literally starving to death. That was about the time the movie Crocodile Dundee had come out, so we named him Aussie because he had been on "walk about". Had him for about 13 years before we had to take him for his final walk 7 years ago. He was one fine dog! Always by my side, followed me wherever I went. Still miss him.
On top of that my avatar looks like my cat, Beau.

Great story and a fitting name. I am willing to bet he is still by your side and follows you where ever you go. A love like that never ends. Perfect tribute to a loyal friend.

I was born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan.
I worked for the Pontiac Motor Division.
My Dad retired from Pontiac Motor Division.
My Grandfather worked at Oakland Motor Car Company in the 1920's.
My first car was a Pontiac, 1964 Catalina Ventura.
My second and third cars were GTO's.
I had a 2004 GTO.
I currently own a Solstice, Vibe, and Montana.
Is that enough to call myself MrPontiac?
Okay, I'll bite. Commodore was taken, so in the interest of not wasting time, I picked the name of a clan of spacers from one of my favorite book series.
