Best upgrade I have for my Solstice is the Venture sheild I put on at 250 miles. The front takes quite a bit of abuse from bugs and rocks etc. Highly recommended. Get a professional to install it as it can be quite tricky.

I had a clear bra put on the front. It looks great and protects the paint. I live in the philadelphia area. Where do you live. I would recommend my guy to you.

If you do it don't forget the panels in front of the back tires. That patch right below the training edge of the doors takes a beating too.

I would sure like to hear about the quality/effectiveness of another paint protectant option, Armour Shield, which is a spray on product that is suppose to 3 to four time thicker than clear coat that has been applied to the front of race cars and fleet vehicles to protect the paint finish.

I have the clear film on the front of my GXP and guess it is fine but sure do not like the look of the rainbow look of the plastic when looking at the car with polarizing sun glasses. Can not see this with the naked eye though.

Once Norm comes out with the "Transformer" style side skirts I would like to have them sprayed with Armour Shield product before installing--if it lives up to their claims. Feel it would look better than clear plastic film, and would fully cover the paint. My RK Sport side skirts are taking a real beating toward the rear from small rocks kicked up by the fron tires.
