This may sound like a dumb question, but, how do I get my photo to show under my screen name? I have added it to my profile, but it does not show when I post?

You need to add the photo as an "avatar". That ought to take car of it. It's under the User CP selections over on the left side of the page.

Avatar is short for "the picture under your name over there on the left
