Nope, the originating post can not be deleted. Only the posts following can be deleted.

Perhaps a moderator can delete a thread.

Maybe they can also delete the wait process for a Solstice?

I'm pretty sure mods can delete posts.

Actually, moderators can delete entire threads, lock threads, and edit existing posts. Then can and often do merge two threads, and Solstice man even split one for me, creating the Astronomical Solstice FAQ thread in the FAQs forum and leaving us a discussion thread in the regular forums.

I'm sure you'll be responding, that's what a Forum's for, right?

Um, Crimson Avenger, I just want to beat Editguy to the punch:

Perhaps you should edit your signature and put an "a" in front of lad.

Or as an alternative, forget about the "a" and just add an "i" in the word lad.

It was in my original signature, and when I reformatted it, I must have mistakenly deleted it. It's fixed.
