Me too. This site was crashing ie 8 on my computer big time for the last day or so. Not so much at the moment. It would freeze ie8 when opening a new page on this forum.

I sent a message about this days ago but never got a reply.
It's been happening for over a week now.
Stay away from "my threads" or "active topics-last day".
Guaranteed processor crash.
The home page works okay...and some of the others too...but something's just not right with the server. -Lumix

I use Safari for Windows. It looks similar to Firefox and has this cool page that shows you your last viewed pages panorama style.

it's a site issue, I am guessing one of the add servers is using an old flash code that isn't compatible anymore

as far as chrome, to me still crude and needs further developing

as far as safari, the last time I tried it didn't let me control the favorites suite, any browser that gives me less control is not going to be used on this box

anyway, the site needs to address the issue, it's not a brower issue

I think you are right! It appears to hangup when loading the ads.

And yes "the site needs to address the issue"

Disable your Flash add on, then the site will not crash. Even with Firefox, I have had to do that sometimes to keep it from hanging. Definitely some kind of code problem with their fricken Flash animation.

Especially that stupid Goodwrench Ad. I just love when it runs up on the main header and then kicks in on the side as well. Between the two versions running simultaneously, it is like being stuck in wet cement. But you just never know, because of that fancy flash animation, I just might be more inclined to go to Mr. Goodwrench.

Both the Solstice and SKY forums were giving me trouble yesterday, but today Solstice Forum seems to be behaving. I haven't tried the SKY forum today.

Update......scratch the above comments about today, it just crashed twice.
