SD can you give me a link I can pass on to them I can get my GXP on order?
Both can be seen at GM Dealerworld, the dealership web portal. The person looking will have to have been authorized to see these areas. GM Pricing can been seen by going to the Sales tab and then just clicking on GM Pricing. When open, select Pontiac from the top, then 2007 Solstice from the pull down menu, the current price schedule will fill another drop down menu. Then just hit "select" (I think that is the button) and you are there.
From Order Workbench, try the "create reports" choice. Then from the pull down menu, select one of the allocation reports, and they should see their numbers.'
Gotta run.

My dealer insists they haven't seen any GXP allocation information yet. So my question is...
If a dealer doesn't get a GXP allocation - do they know (are they notified) that they DIDN'T get the allocation for that particular timeframe... OR is the only communication from GM when they DO get the allocation?
In other words; No "allocation" vs No "information"
If it's the former, I would expect them to tell me they didn't get any allocation vs that they didn't get any info.
thanks!

In theory GM doesn't notify us about anything. We have to go look at the reports that are available to us through VOMS and Order Workbench.
The information has been out for a while. Contact dealerships have gone through one or two consensus cycles that should have shown the GXP allocation information. RCC dealerships have seen estimated shipments for August for a while. Both should have seen the weekly breakfown of allocations for the June period (which runs to July 20th). Finally there was last weeks order constraint information which also indicated GXP allocations.
Keep in mind though that this information is not available to every dealership employee. The must be granted access to it by the security administrator at their dealership.

I stopped by the dealer today. The sales guy I've been working with brought up Dealerworld and went to the sales tab, but there was no GM pricing option. We also tried the Order workbench but they had no allocations so he said he couldn't look anything up.

The Order WorkBench portion of my post that you quoted was in answer to another question from the post I quoted. There is no effective way to get a price going through Order WorkBench allocation reports.

Then the dealership may not want that person to have access to that information. If they do, then have the dealership security coordinator authorize the application for thier user id.
2007 Base Solstice pricing is in GM AutoBook. Still waiting on the 2007 Solstice GXP pricing to get there.

i've read several of these threads and I wondering what to do about getting an 07 gxp. I went to my dealer and they told me they no longer do the special orders that everyone seems to be talking about and they said I may have to wait till nov. or dec. until GXP's even hit the dealership! Can anyone help?

Call other dealers.....you may have to go outside your area to find a dealer who will help you. They are out there, you just have to hunt!
My current Solstice has the steel/sand. I'm not sure I'd need to go all the way in replacing the dash and door inserts... I'm thinking just changing the seat covers and steering wheel might be enough...
