Best method to get special color for GXP

I am thinking of getting into a new GXP but would love to have the car painted with Lamborghini's pearl white paint and upgrade the interior to black with white inserts (seats and doors). Would just buying a white GXP be the best way to go here, or does it matter?

I recently saw a pearl white Lambo and loved it...obviously, the Lambo is out but the fact is, I love the Sols style. The Sol in Pearl white would be awesome!

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure you can buy any color if your going to get it painted but just to say a nice paint job might cost you 6-12k depending on it all.

White would help I would assume. I priced out paiting my Sol an orange metallic and it was $7,600 (excluding inside trunk/underside of hood).

Make sure you don't go with GM's Cadillac pearl metallic, it is an off white that is not as pretty as the pure white lambo pearl.

Also, tell whomever does the bid that the Sol's body panels are easily removable except for the rear quarters. All solstice convertibles are actually all silver underneath (firewall, frame, bumber, radiator supports, ect….).

The paint shop could lay out and spray the hood, front fascia, rear fascia, doors, rear trunk lid, and fenders and then roll in the car and shoot the rear quarters. If you know a good shop ask them if you could come in and disassemble the car at nights to save on labor, it’s actually really easy.

For $2,500, an Audi can be ordered in almost any color you'd like. Well worth the money, IMO, and I wish Pontiac/GM would offer the same (they don't, do they?).

Audi Exclusive Colors:

Industry Color
Paint-to-Sample or Another Manufacturer
Color must be available as a water-based paint
Color-code must be supplied at time of order to avoid any unnecessary delays
Please confirm the color is available before submitting order

Exterior body color available in Audi AG color:
Color-code and name must be supplied at time of order to avoid any unnecessary delays
Please confirm the color is available before submitting order
