So I'm curious to know if I'm to first to own an '06, an 07 and an 08?
Yep traded in my 07 GXP for an 08. It was a deal that I just could not pass up. Saw this 08 GXP on the lot at the dealership when we were in Savannah. It's an early 08 model (10073) and had been on the lot for awhile so it was pre-price increase. Also was able to use my GMS pricing this time. They are allowing me to keep almost all of my upgrades including my exhaust. They are going to pay to have it shipped up here and they are swapping my Magnaflow out for the stock. The only thing I was not able to keep was the GM Personal Audio Link since it's hard-wired into the stereo. But they gave me $100 more for it then I paid to have it installed. Best thing of all I'm back to having a bumper to bumper warranty.
It will be delivered on Monday and I pick it up on Tuesday. It's another cool, fully loaded. I'm so excited. I wish I could pick it up on Monday as soon as it gets here but I have to be at work at 2:00pm and they said it probably would be here until 5 since it's an 8 hour drive round trip.
I will be putting the stripes back on and this time I think first thing I will be getting the clear bra. Didn't get that on either of the others and regretted it.
Good to see you "let the cat out of the bag" You just need to tint the windows and it will almost be a clone! I will be in ATL (Ft McPherson) Monday until Wednesday, but I will have the G-Jet (Government Car) Free gas versus over $100 ... gotta to hit Ft Benning and Fort Rucker later in the week. Maybe I can see the new ride before I leave Fort McPherson.

See Stang, there are some who have actually already seen the new one! As a matter of fact everyone who was at the Savannah cruise has already seen it. It's the one that was sitting under the awning right in front of the double doors as you went into the lobby.
Yep after signing the papers today I just couldn't keep it to myself anymore. It's been driving me crazy for a week now.
And just to confirm, everything I have aftermarket on my 07 is going to "fit" on the 08 right? From front to back I have Silverstars, Engine Cover, Fujita Intake, JPM Shifter, Shorty Antenea and Magnaflow Exhaust. I don't want any surprises when I start taking all of this stuff off and it doesn't fit.

By the time we get up to the dragon my breakin 500 miles will be done. I've volunteered to be the sweeper so I'll try to take it easy, but yes you are correct no donuts for awhile.
I didn't buy him the Harley he did that all on his own. I was sitting at the Fort Hawkins car show when he bought it. He was only supposed to go there to "test drive" one I had no ideal he was actually going to buy it. Men!!!

Watch out with the clearbra on cool. It has a tendency to look really bad through polarized lenses. Almost like the car is filthy. I think it happens on all colors but you cant notice it on the darks.

She uses it as a DD at a rate of ~36K miles (I believe) a year, so getting an 08 with almost no miles and breaking even on her DD made sense. She has new tires (for a little while ) and a new warranty (over $2000 value for both) and a couple of new options at the same price as her 07 ... so it appears to be a good deal. I wish I had the same "hook up" here locally!
