I was looking at a 2008 N/A SCCA SSB at my local dealer last month and they had dropped the price from $29,995 to $25,500. I check again today and it's down to $22,750. I offered $21,000 and was shot down.
I care more about how the car looks that how it performs, so the GXP isn't important to me. The fact that the SCCA SSB isn't very common makes it more attractive and I happen to like the red color and stripes.
Should I stop being greedy and just pay the man or wait until the end of April and see if they call me back? I have to know I'm getting a bargain or I won't be able to sleep at night.
If you don't do it, and someone else scoops it, you are going to be pissed. As R&T said, it's a good deal.
So what are you waiting for?

With a dealership invoice cost of over $29,000, and only a base consumer rebate of $1,250, the current price represents over $5,000 under dealership invoice.
That should satisfy anyone's definition of a "bargin".
Eventually Spring and good weather will return to the NorthEast. Perhaps by this weekend. Why not have a new convertible to great it?

Definitely a steal of a deal. Especially for a documented special edition like the SCCA edition.
Don't let it slip past you or you will regret it.

It is really a good deal. Take the advice of the forum here and get it. You won't be sorry. Small Dealer is 100% correct. The price is low and if you wait it won't be there very long. I am very happy with mine.
