Well, some of y'all may have seen my prior post re the Club Sport I have on order. (Link: Oh Nooooooooo ! )

I went to the dealer today and saw with my own eyes a printout with the projected build for next week. I have my fingers crossed, but I still can't understand why the factory has pushed this back twice already, if all is well with the parts supply as has been said in the other thread.

The dealer keeps telling me , that the car WILL be built. We'll see.

One good thing, though.... I am told that the engine block is built here in Alabama.

Hang in there!!!! I know your pain. My car was actually on a car carrier on the way to my dealer and was called back due to a color issue with the dash. I had to wait for the car to be returned to the factory for the dash to be repainted....... All I can say is in the end it was all worth the pain. When you finally get your car you will forget all of the waiting you did. Hang in there!

Well, here it is, June 2 and the car that was ordered on April 2 still has not been built.

I know the factory accepted the order, because I saw that paperwork with my own eyes.

I'm consoling myself with the thought of how cool it would be to have mine as the very last 2008 built.

OK, It's June 13... The dealer called me today... My club sport has been built, and shipped.

Should be just a matter of a week or 10 days now.

Monday, June 23... Still no car.

Where are they shipping your car? It might be sitting on the Cooper lot at the railhead waiting on a spot on a truck. I know where the lot is here in Kansas City and others on the forum know where other rail yards are located...they could probably help if they know where you are located.
