Went to the dealer today loaded for bear......

Well, it's HERE ! ( In Birmingham railyard, at least.... awaiting a spot on a truck..... )
But I held the window sticker in my hand, and it's a genuine Club Sport!

And the dealer has me hooked up with the $3,000 Rebate !

( He could do this, since the car was ordered as a floor model, with him holding $1,000 good-faith money from me, in other words, he would keep the thou if I backed out...The car has been in his "inventory" for three weeks already.)

All in all, that eased the wait right there ! I should be posting pics of her on here by Tuesday, right after I make some mods I have in mind. The service manager said he'd be happy to print out any shop manual pages I might need.

I am really pleased to have decided to spend mmy money locally with this dealer, and not "shop around". He has more than made up for the wait.
