Still no Bluestone for Sol, however......drumroll, please.

BRAZEN (Inferno Orange Metallic) RPO 28U touch-up code WA-502Q It is extra cost like Mean. Both new colors for '08 are available with all interior and top combos.

Rest of the changes
Deletions

Exterior color (42U) Sly (Shadow Gray Metallic)
(DT4) Regular Production Accessory, Smoker's Package

New Features

Exterior color (28U) Brazen (Inferno Orange Metallic) (Premium paint - additional charge)
Exterior color (75U) Sly (Dark Steel Gray Metallic)
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (standard on both models)

Changes

(AZ5) Premium Acoustic Headliner is now standard on both models (was available as a free flow in 2007)
StabiliTrak is now available on 2MB67 Solstice and requires (JL9) 4-wheel antilock, 4-wheel disc brakes (was not available in 2007 on 2MB67)
(UE1) OnStar is now standard on both models (was available as a free flow in 2007)
(312) is now Ebony/Sand leather seating surfaces (was Steel/Sand in 2007)
Driver Information Center is now standard on 2MB67 Solstice (was part of [ZQ3] Convenience Package in 2007)
(US8) AM/FM stereo with CD player and MP3 playback is now standard on both models (was available in 2007)
(U1C) AM/FM stereo with CD player is now included and only available with (Z0K) Club Sport Package on 2MB67 Solstice (was standard on both models in 2007)
(U2K) XM Satellite Radio is now standard on both models (was available in 2007)

With the addition of numerous features as standard expect the price of a stripped model to jump significantly. If you would have ordered these anyway, hope for a stabilization or reduction.

No change in body.

Brazen IS same touch up paint as Colorado's Inferno. Different than previous Sunburst Orange on 06 Colorado.

I like the idea of Stabilatrack being standard too, but it isn't and neither is ABS! Why GM insists on making unsafe sports cars is incomprehensible, particularly since they cost over $25K. Corvette has had standard ABS for more than a decade.

You can still buy ABS as an option so that covers it. Most racers don't like ABS and I applaud GM for recognizing the "need" for that group but still making ABS available for the masses. Besides most Sol's are shipping with damn near every option anyways so not having ABS is a moot point. Not all safety equipment needs to be standard. As long as its available it's good.

Some racers, like Dale Earnhardt, didn't like head restraints either.

If you want to race your car, buy a ZOK and equip it the way you want. Most "racers" are amatuer "wanna bees" who don't brake correctly, which is why they are still amatuers instead of pros. When they are racing on public roads, which is common, they become extreme hazards to other drivers when they don't have ABS and ESC.

Why are ABS and ESC standard on GXP which is much more appealing to racers?

I hope they do not end there and paint the rear fascia to match the color of the car.
I can live with the windshield trim staying silver but the rear fascia needs to be match, otherwise IMHO it looks cheap.

I think color coordinated applies to that panel as well.

OK so take a deep breath and remember a bunch of us saw how they go together and if they did start painting the trim to match each color then they would have to do a bit more coordination of parts then they are doing now. This could add to the cost and well we all know how sensitive the price points are.
