I'm wondering where the tire pressure monitoring system will display information or if it will just be a feature of OnStar. If not, I wonder if it will get its own display interface or if it will be part of the DIC or maybe just a dummy light not showing specifically which tire. I'm still hoping its something that can be added on to previous years models but not holding my breath.

The CHEAPest way for them to do it is the way it is on most other GM vehicles, where it monitors the anti-lock brakes and sees if one tire is rotating faster than the others. It then pops up an idiot light without telling you which one is low. This is the system my wife's Aztek has.

But since the antilock is not standard and the monitor is, I'm hoping they do a proper implementation with pressures, but we'll see..



Oh bummer, I just realized every single 08 is going to have the shark fin antenna whether you want it or not...

I hadn't thought about that... part of me wishes mine had OnStar but the other part of me is glad that I don't have the shark fin. I've seen it on a few and its just odd looking. The XM antenna is hardly noticeable in comparison.

Whoa! I like the idea of a Brazen orange Sol. with a black top and black stripes! Perhaps with very thin light blue pin lines floating outside the stripes. Glad I have waited so long now!

Well I am in the process in purchasing an 08, mysterious (black) GXP. And I noticed after trying to get into an 07 gxp that a LOT of the options that where optional for 07 is factory standard. The only thing I am trying to get the dealship to do is the trade out the tan top for a black top. Which hope they can do it before getting the car this week. I already test drove it and they put it in the back till my settlement check comes in. Otherwise, I might be on here to see someone would like to trade their black top for my tan top.
