New. I paid $25,500 for a new leftover 2008 when I could get used 2008s all day for under $22,000.
Used cars are one thing. Used peformance cars are another. I've seen posts here for modded cars where people advised the seller to pull the aftermarket turbo because stock cars are easier to sell. True. I don't want to risk a quarter mile car or one that was previously modded. Not for a couple of grand. I want to know the history of the entire car. Mine had 100 likely brutal test-drive miles on the car, but then it likely got some wonderful heat cycles as well, so there you go...
I vote "new". Unless you are only keeping it 2 or 3 years, then who cares? I'm in for the long haul so a short term 3 grand savings was not going to be an issue to me. I've spent close to that in mods already, with my Kappasphere wheels, GMPP upgrade, backbone and JPM shifter.
