after just 2 short months I took delivery of my G X P .....My Way

she raced past me just like the filly she is .........

upon approaching her the stallion came out ..................

yes a virgin with no parents

I am so in love.......... As her Guardian........

......I will tell her she is from the Pontiac species..........,from a well known family... in a town from Beverly Hills

and is a thoroughbred.....with Champion Lines,...a rare find , with lineage to the Solstice

family and a direct descendent of G X P ..........the new pair of hoofs powdercoated in

High Gloss Black will distinguish her from the rest of the herd, and the absence of a

specific brand stamp will enhance the mystic of this aggresive red beast ,

no gm chicklets here....she is here to drive her own destiny!

Congrats.
Maybe she is the direct descendant of another famous great red throughbred.

Secretariat, now she was a real beauty.

the dealership I went through made it so easy, hassle free, when I drove her home last

night, just as they were closing the right side wheel was making a screeching sound

so I was first in line at the dealership this morning and what a pleasant experience, The

Cadillac Dealership is by far the most professional and courteous. I had a Newspaper

magazines, 2 Plasma TV's coffee.....oh the car , it got repaired, something on the reverse

side of the rotor was bent and scratching it, no damage, easy fix.....they even did the

recall for the seat bolsters at the same time.

So I got to put on 11o ginger miles breaking her in properly,

My back got sore, I couldn't find the right position, so I went, and got a back cushion that

seems to have taken care of it.

took some more pics today.............

I've been wondering how the Sol would look wearing black wheels. I would say, you pulled it off. At least with red, I think it is a terrific look. Looks very racy. Nice look. Congrats on the new ride.

I think you are doing fine, but if you want to be a nut;

I changed my oil at 500 and then oil and diff fluid at 1000

if you want to change your oil yourself Billy just posted some great pics.

Some have said not to drive for more than a 1/2 hour at a time than let the car rest for many hours til completely cooled down. This is because of the problems that some have had with the rear-end on our cars. This prevents the pumpkin from over heating or perhaps heating and cooling, tempering the differenial just right.

Wash and polish; see some of the postings on clay-barring
--------watch your wheels since they are freshly painted
detail the interior so if it rains you have some protection
buy and protect your top with your choice of cloth top protector like 303

Enjoy, i think i have about a month left before mine is put to bed for winter.
