i am a senior in high school and my parents were thinking about making my graduation gift a solstice, awesome i know right! Anyway, i cant afford to have this car if it doesn't have a down graded engine because i am an 18 year old male driver so i have redonkulous insurance prices so my question is does the solstice have an option yet where i can down grade it to the point of affordable insurance?

The base Sol is 2.4 Liter 4 banger... that's as downgraded as you want to go, that's the bottom of the barrel, so to speak.

you only have two choices..the 2.4L in the base sol and the 2.0L turbo in the GXP....the base sol is the route to go.....as for insurance.....call the insurance company and ask.....gonna be high regardless if you are listed as the primary driver....
