The SCCA SSB Champion Edition (Base 2.4L) information has been released into GM AutoBook. No pricing and not available to order, but the data is there. Also not appearing into the online order guide in GM DealerWorld. Although not surprising, the guide only updates on weekends, AutoBook updates more frequently.
It will be fully equipped. Guess that is what the announcement means when it says, "....along with higher levels of standard content.". There are no options, other than tranmission choice. Even the Spolier and Pedals are included.
More importantly, there is only one color combo, #74 Agressive with #19T Darkside top and #51A Gray/Silver Accent Stripes. The inside is Championship Edition specific Light #856 Titanium Leather Seating Surfaces.
Interestingly, it has received it's own model id number, 2MS67. Not an option package available on the base 2MB67 model.
Would then have to expect that the SCCA T2 Champion Edition GXP, would be the same fully equipped and perhaps even the same color combo.
More information as it becomes available, including confirmation that this AutoBook information is correct.
UPDATE
The information about the SCCA SSB Chamoion Edition was added to the online order guides effective today the start of the week of December 10th. Confirms the inforamtion in AutoBook as to the full standard equipment list and restriced colors.
UPDATE
The Spoiler has been dropped from the standard equipment list. Doesn't show on the option list.

The SCCA T2 Champion Edition (GXP 2.0L) information has been released into GM AutoBook. No pricing and not available to order, but the data is there. Not appearing into the online order guide in GM DealerWorld, as of yet. Although not surprising, the guide only updates on weekends, AutoBook updates more frequently.
The only option choice is Manual or Automatic Transmission. All of the regular Solstice GXP options appear to be included in the standard equipment list
The Spoiler is showing as standard equipment, even though it was dropped from the base SCCA SSB Championship Edition.
Again there is only one color combo, #34 Mean with #19T Darkside top and #51A Gray/Silver Accent Stripes and the Championship Edition specific #856 Light Titanium Leather Seating Surfaces.
It has also received it's own model id number, 2MT67.
More information as it becomes available, which should be soon.

The Order Guide is saying that the SCCA SSB Champion Edition (Base 2.4L), should be able to be ordered starting the week of February 4th. Right now Order WorkBench will not allow one to be configured for order. Will see what next week brings.

What is the difference between it and a ZOK pkg option? AC? Trim? Does it have the ZOK suspension?

All the special editions are, are fully loaded versions with special specific interior trim and exterior stipes.
They are not equipped with Z0K suspensions.

That's kind of lame. If anything they should be available completely stripped down of any options(But still available for those who want them). Along with a special lightweight wheel and Z0K suspension. Now that would be what I would expect out of a special edition SCCA car. That and it should come with the hard top.

NEW! Solstice SCCA Champion Editions...
Solstice won the SSB and T2 classes of SCCA Club Racing division at the 2007 Runoffs at Heartland Park Raceway in Topeka, KS last October.
Because of this we have created 2 limited production models. They include unique graphics, stripes and embroidered Light Titanuim Leather seatback inserts along with higher levels of standard content.
Both models have special model designations: The SSB Champion Edition is 2MS67, off the Base Solstice, and carries an MSRP of $29,020. The T2 Champion Edition is 2MT67, off the Solstice GXP, and has an MSRP of $32,370.
The first DOSP cycle is 2/21/08 and production begins 3/13/08.
Looks to be about a $800 premium for the SSB edition and $600 for the T2 edition.

Pontiac had told us, previous post, that the first allocation order cycle would be starting on February 21st.
There were constriants listed for both models, 17% for the SSB Championship Edition (2.4L Base) and a 0% for the T2 Championship Edition (2.0L GXP).
The system shows that several retail stock orders have already been accepted for the SSB Championship Edition.
Will keep an eye on the situation with the T2 Championship edition.
