I was really hoping that I could find a GXP Coupe, but I struck out on all of them.

Yesterday, I jumped ship (slightly) and took delivery of a 2009 Saturn Sky Red Line. It is equipped just the way I would have wanted the GXP Coupe and I could actually get the car.

I'm having a ball and enjoying my car, but still wished I could have gotten the GXP.

I hope that you will forgive me for changing to a slightly different camp.

Congrats! I just bought a new Solstice GXP and couldn't be happier. If it didn't exist I would be thrilled to have a Saturn Sky. At least you are going to have dealerships and that wonderful Saturn dealership experience. I'm certain Penske is keeping that.

That said, I have never seen the Sol and Sky as two camps. I was disappointed we broke into 2 forums.

I don't see the Sky any different from the Solstice. There are a million ways to categorize kappas, by motor, by color, by tranny, by mods. In the end, we all have one of Bob Lutz's fun babies.

I'm sorry you couldn't find a coupe. I hope this turns out to work out better for you. If not, somebody somewhere will be selling a used coupe eventually.

I still love that Sky front end.

I'm not crazy about white, but goodness, they just look so good on these cars, expecially with chrome rims.
