Looking to get VentureShield and at this point I am considering the foglights, headlights, bumper, hood, backs of the mirrors, in front of the rear wheels and the rockers under the doors.

Anywhere else that I should be covering with the VentureShield?

Don't want my brand new ride to get sandblasted...

I did what you have, less the rockers. I did take the suggestion of the tech and he did just the edges of both doors for , I think, $15 extra - saves little dings when you touch the door to something opening it.

I didn't do the entir hood- about the front 1/3. Once you are a few feet from the car you can't see a thing (Aggressive).

I have since out a couple of coats of Zaino polish and show finish. The venture shield responds well.

You keep going here!

The more the better. I also did behind the front wheels. Very important, IMO.

And the steps inside the door as I saw lots of wear quickly. Look at the painted steps inside the door to the sill plate and you'll understand.

I didn't do the rockers under the door, but I want to add it this summer.

Go with as much hood as they can do. Supposedly they offer less or more. I went with more at 12", from memory.

Why don't you just come by and say hi! You'll love the lower kw coilovers.

Wanted to know in a previous post how noticeable the VentureShield is on a dark car and now that I have decided to do it I need to know how much to get done.

I want to drive the car straight to the installer when I pick it up at the dealer in a few weeks.

I would come over to say hi but don't know where you are other than what your signature says. In Canada eh!

Another area I have seen and will have done on my "Patty" is the body of the outer rim of the gas filler door. Saw this on a MEAN GXP with all the other areas you mentioned (hood and fenders, front-to-back was 24" ) on Tom's MEAN GXP. This product is the ClearBra film. The company is ApexRestoration in Beaverton,OR. Got a quote and is really resomeable. Getting a few small rock chips and it will be protected soon for "Patty". Just my two cents .

I asked the guy responsible for new car prep at my dealer to (1) not put a dealer badge on the car because it was coming right off and (2) not to use a brush wash on the car (they have their own). He made sure of both.

If you are going straight from the dealer to the VS guy, ask him to claybar the areas to be covered - mine did it anyway. If they won't or want too much, do it yourself to get the shipping and rail dust off before they"seal" it.
Just a thought.
