2010 V8 manual Camaro factory hold - breaking transmissions

It seems the old adage of never buying a first year model car (at least domestic, sigh) continues to be true.

Our solstice had issues (especially the 06's) but it continues with the 2010 Camaro's.

Supposedly 1SS/2SS Camaros (V8's) with the manuals were breaking some transmissions...

Did the trannies comee the from the same place that the solstice come from....the FRENCH

The problem was a supplier problem at Getrag.

Window stickers on Auto cars says "Transmission: FRANCE", it was used in BMW's late 90's.

Wheels made in CHINA

39% not US or Canada made parts in the car.
