Bigblau needs a coloring book with pop up pictures that easily illustrates the difference in width between the LLT and a LSX motor. Does anyone want to put together a powerpoint presentation maybe? I'm tempted to come up with some CAD drawings just to end the ridiculousness.
You all have to realize that these rants are not blau's fault; of course his Audi V6 is his savior, can you imagine driving a 40 horsepower diesel rabbit for 30 years along with a diesel dasher? 30 years with a diesel rabbit would make me insane too.

I thought the same as well, bradyb. Seems to me that diesel rabbit inspired him to write Lutz back in the late 90s to get a diesel in the Wrangler. Having gotten some response, again, a form letter, BigBlau, now wants to see if Lutz will respond about a V6 Kappa. He can't read or comprehend.
BTW, I don't trade cars in, I sell them outright, but Blau misses that point as well.

Can you imagine the old Jeep forum boards? There must have been hundreds of posts from this one crazy guy that repeatedly insisted on discussing the possibility of putting a Cummings straight six in a Jeep Wrangler. Even though everyone told him that they weren't interested in adding the 2,000 pounds and 12 inch body lift to their Jeeps he still continued to push the point in every response he posted. He probably also contradicted himself by telling everyone how old and outdated the 4.0L was and that soon Chrysler was going to be using a V6. Who knows maybe Bigblau gave Chrysler the idea to put the crappy 3.7 minivan motor in the Wrangler and drop the torquey straight 6.

That was him alright. Fits well.

Helps to know people in high places I guess. And they say I don't have any clout.

You don't. You do however in the same dream where you drive a Solstice with a V-6 and in that same dream, you are married to Katie Holmes and she drives the Wrangler, you know, "Dr make me feel good alright"--the Wrangler with the inline 6 diesel from the late 90s. That's the one. "Dr. make me feel good alright." How is Katie and the kids? How's the performance of that Wrangler, 10 years old and all?

You're a card, but you do make me laugh. I love you BigBlau. You are so smart and so all-knowing. I wish I had the self esteem and overall sharp intellect that you have.
"Seems you have a need to put others down. You've even tried to destroy the credibility of someone here that agrees with your belief that the BMW I-6 is the greatest engine on the face of the planet "for obvious reasons" -N/A or FI. Is the obvious reason that the BMW I-6 won't fit in a Solstice why it is you do not want a six cylinder in a Solstice? BTW Stevie, thank you, I couldn't have hacked him up any better myself -if I had your mentality.
3.8L 480HP V6 GT-R Coupe!"
That would be you post. Your infinite lack of wisdom does not allow you to figure the recent past however. You don't know who 007GXP is but I do. He just changed his nick on the forum---same personality and same person similar to you. You guys will make great friends. He has the "Chewbacca" argumentation system down pat. You, Ol chap, are just learning it. You'll get the hang of it...you do seem well on your way. I love your style just as his. Arguments all over the place. Train of thought like an ADD kid with an intravenous bolus of caffeine and sucrose. A thought disorder so random and tangential and so demented defragmented that the argument becomes illogical and electronically illegible. A fantasy world lived in by you and inhabited by he on different coasts of the pond. Sadly, you could be twins separated at birth. A vast experiment gone awry.
I love you though. For the steadfastness in your argument despite it never ever gonna happen. Kinda like the GM profitability threads in 07 and how The Legal One predictated GM to make money for 07 and 08--YET THEY LOST BILLIONS.
Kinda like him now posting about GMs market share losses and now appearing to attack GMs market movement when months ago he was on their bandwagon. Corvette, Solstice, Sky best in their markets with nothing touching them for the money. Solstices values that would be maintained as investment grade strategies well into the future yet no future to go on. He sounds so much like you. You sure you aren't just him as well...you sound the same, same style, sound lack of punch, same baseless arguments. Same misconstruing of someone's electronic words. Same attitude. I don't hate you brother, I feel sorry for you and I think your arguments are demented.

My opinion I think Gm should slam the old 3.8L Turbocharged engine from the old grand national GNX into the solstice GXP, now that engine produced some nasty HP and torque, pushing a 4000 pound car to low 13's in the quarter mile, can you imagine what it will do in a little solstice, don't ever shut off the traction control or you'll smoke the tires bald!!!

The funny thing is PEP, that engine was rated at less that our current LNF back in the day!
If youve ever had one apart, either hot air or the more desireable (209?) casting from the 86&87 they are built like a boat anchor. Big huge ass holes in the lifter valley, tons of leftover flashing everywhere. Headflow far beyond pitiful!
All the things they found wrong with it (thanks to the racing program that BB was part of) led to the devlopement of the "stage" motors and all of that exp. (the heads, the oilpump, rods, putting the pistons"on center" instead of offset on the rod) all found it's way in the 3800series gen2 motor.
Stock they werent all that fast, but guys soon found out what the car liked for turbo/boost pressure and the torque ensued!
Run your car up to 24-27psi with the stock turbo. you'll discover that it make a GREAT deal more torque. over 400ftlbs at the crank. Slap my turbo kit & westers tune on it and it will make over 500hp! then get 31miles to the gallon on the way home from the track.
Our kids will be talking about the ecotec in 15 years time. Bet money on it.
Would I dig the highfeature DI3.6 in the kappa? you bet your ass. WOuld I like it better then the turbo I4? only if it had turbos!..
I've rode in a 3.0L A4 that I've mentioned in other threads, and I do like the car, the interior is awesome for a 2002 car, and the V6 sound is pretty good IMO.
However.... Now that I have driven (and own) a turbo car. I just nailed 30 MPG on my last fillup, and I have a very usable amount of power on tap whenever I want! The interior in the GXP is good, it isn't GREAT, but it is good. If I wanted a high quality interior + the power, I would have gone with a Cayman, but then you figure in that price, and seeing as I'm an accountant...
So while Audi's TT will always look better on the interior...You get so much more value going with the GXP.
Now others are willing to spend the $$ on the TT, and that is fine, but if they would like to go the drag strip / solo autocross track...
