New Local Car Design - Styletto

I just saw this news release in the Mission Viejo Dispatch blog. Nice looking car.

Zero-Emission Super Car From Mission Viejo

A local design firm has released images of a 200 mph plus first-of-its-kind sports car. The gull-wing, two-seater sports car, dubbed Styletto, will compete with the exclusive sports car market dominated by Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche.

Mission Viejo based Steenstra GCM is the brainchild of Dutch designer Cornelius “Cor” Steenstra, who was a designer for Volvo and Mercedes and has experience with several other overseas automobile companies, including Germany’s Porsche. He says the car is “aimed directly at the rich and famous.” The firm is a division of Foresee Car Design, Inc., founded in 2001 and also based in Mission Viejo.

Steenstra is negotiating with investment groups on the project, hoping to have drivable prototypes for next year’s Pebble Beach Concourse d’ Elegance, according to GreenCar Magazine. Click here for the Steenstra website. Steenstra GCM - The Spirit of American Innovation
