This actually isn't a new Pontiac car, it's been out in Mexico and Canada as the Pontiac G3 for well over a year.

I think they should wait till the 2010 Aveo redesign before adding it to the Pontiac lineup. At that point GM is introducing the new 1.4L VVT DI Turbo engine to the USA in the Aveo and some other cars along with a complete exterior redesign. It'll produce 140 HP and 150 lbs-ft along with getting 9mpg better fuel economy then the current 1.6L 100 HP 105 lbs-ft engine in the Aveo meaning about 43 mpg highway with a lot more power.

Get an exhaust, intake, and tune and you could be rolling around in your own 200 HP G3.

You'll, literally, be able to have your cake and eat it too. Honestly can't wait for these new turbo motors to come out.

Exactly, they'll do wonders for our fuel economy and compact sporty vehicle types. Being direct injection means you can run 87 octane on them too.

They're also planning on adding HCCI to these engine types once they perfect the technology which can net an additional 15% savings when at idle and speeds under 55mph.

I really hope they make them E85 compatible too so if you want you can run that as well.
