How 'bout a 2.0 liter SIDI 2-stage turbo 425 hp/445 ft-lb I-4 Corvette on an aluminum structure and lightweight carbon fiber body panels and new aero treatments?
I'll take a 2.3L version of this to decrease some of the spool time.

This sounds like fun. Since we're brainstorming how about a Baby mid-engine Corvette with LED lights, deep air intakes and a sweeping profile. As for engines why not a 335HP super and turbocharged 2.5L I-5 with the possibility of a high-performance diesel V6 and/or a 3.6L TT DI V6. Add a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and a 7-ratio DSG as optional.

Dreaming is half the fun of life. Too bad this will never happen. But then again you never know, someone may be able to build it. Oh well, back to reality. Do you really think the bailout will keep GM from going bankrupt?
