Traded my Z and bought a Z

Been a while but I'm coming back from Japan to America lol. Just signed the deal to trade my s/c 05 nissan 350Z in on a 07 Zo6 vette with 7k miles. I have to wait about 2 weeks to get it because of previous apts, weather and mostly to give the dealer time to get the long tube headers and set up time to dyno and reflash the ecu. The car is a special event car direct from GM. It was the car on the advertising stuff GM put out in 07. It's atomic orange which was a new color that year . It's #30 in production and was never licensed so I'm the first owner lol. The dealer said that with the mods it will get about 35 mpg and 585hp.

Just watch out for that roofskin problem the '07's had. A friend of mine has a beautiful black '08 Z06. Fast cars, and there is almost no body roll. Great choice!

Hope to see some photos posted here soon, Roger!

I don't like the idea of you driving that beautiful Corvette up that gravel road.

Welcome back to American cars.

I have the older version of the Zo6 and I love it, and if I were not planning on getting a new one and I had the room to keep 2 of them I wouldn't think of selling it.

I think the 35mpg is a little overboard, my car will do 18 city and 30hwy @ 75 mph.

53k with the long tube headers, cai, dyno tune and ecu reflash. thats how it gets the 30 plus milage . the dealer sells lots of high performance vettes sort of there thing. Hell I will not know squat for over a week because thats how long it will take to get everything set up. I told the dealer I want it all done no come backs to do it later. Ya Giz I know you don't like my hill lol . but you should see it now with the ICE on it. Good thing I have a tractor with a bucket and a blade so I can spread some sand down the day before I leave to pick it up. I will post some picts when I get it along with the dyno and what kind of mpg I get driving it 85 mph on the interstate for 400 miles.
