Although I loved my solstice and I loved being part of this community I decided it was time for something new. I was trying to sell it outright with no luck and wanted to just buy a regular pickup to tow with, but when the opportunity arose...I jumped.

I love my 12 mpg!!

Nice ride for a truck (that looks like it likely will not be used for a truck.) Otherwise, no comment.

Actually it will be towing the 4-stall horse trailer we just bought.

Well then, that is a bit different, and practical. Good choice.

Now you will be on the road with 504 horses.

I wanted something with dual-purpose. I betcha I could beat a stock 2.4 solstice towing a trailer.

No offense...

I thought you were getting rid of the sol to get something more practical from a financial standpoint. Does this get the job done?

I'd have to think if I would take that bet. I used to have a Ford F-250Lariat turbo diesel short bed with the extended cab, with a chip mod. Kind of a sleeper. I used to enjoy blowing off Beemers on the freeway on-ramps with signaled access. No problemo. Muy fun.

Sure considering that I still have a warranty until 100k miles on this one, this can tow a horse trailer, I didn't have to lose my ass on my solstice to sell it, and I did some other things to fix my financial standpoint. Moved back in with the parents so we didn't have rent and horse board, and took a job at a insurance firm rather than an oil change. I'd say my life has dramatically changed for the better in the last couple months.

By the way, do you know the difference between a porcupine and a BMW? (I'll probably take a lot of flak about this one, if the moderator leaves it up.)
