Dennis Mooney, for teh last 4 years, head of Holden, GM's arm in Australia, is headed home to Detroit, to a newly created position of vice president of global systems and integration, starting 8/1. He will report directly to Jim Queen, group vp of global engineering. With him, of course, he brings the new for 2008 Pontiac G8 version of last year's new Commodore which won International COTY awards. And upon whose architecture the new Camaro and next Impala are based. Who knows, maybe he'll have found a passion for Aussie utes and might bring back the ElCamino as well. Read more.

Not only is Mooney coming to GMNA but a whole slew of talent from around the world are headed here.

Brian Nesbitt has been renamed GMNA Vice President of Design for North America.

In addition to him, a key peace of GM's Asia-Pacific team David Lyon will be renamed to Executive Director of Interior Design for North America.

Think those interiors from the Chinese Buicks and that is the man who is headed here to GMA.

Great, now hopefully we'll get some more bad ass looking Holden cars unlike the plain version of the Monaro looking Pontiac GTO.
