I' ve counted over 150 car owners that have posted in Gizmo's owners thread, but it seems that there ought to be more. I see that our membership is now 3,857, so I wonder if there are really more car owners here than are indicated. I suspect that some members have recieved their cars and aren't posting as much as they use to and have not seen the owners thread. In any case I am doing this poll to see how the numbers for different groups shape up.

keep bumping this thread also! Even if we make it sticky, it's been well documented that many members use the "new post" button, thus never see the stickies, bump is the only way they'll see it.
we need some clarification or a new line on that poll.
I am in talks with 2 dealerships to purchase a sol. THey have my name and number, but will not let me put money down until they have an allocation. Both seem kinda stupid, but they are charging me MSRP...if they ever let me put down a deposit.
so do I check off "have one on order"? because I sure as heck don't feel like I have one coming to me.
In a few days we will need another new poll or this one will sit for a long time on the front page too! If anyone has a suggestion...

I had a deposit down on one at my dealer and asked him to move it to a turbo one. He said fine. Unfortunately, I don't really trust he knows what he's talking about since he said the one I ordered previously was supposed to be in November/December. I changed my order in late December.
Location: The avatar shows my motivation to work .... Work takes place in Houston, Republic of Texas .... Motivation takes place in CA, NV, UT, CO and similar locations with curvy roads through the mountains.
Some statistics for y'all:
I estimate 10000 Solsti were produced by December 31, 2005. I show a total of 639 Forum members who have reported receiving their Solstice, or 6.4%.
So yes, the Solstice Received thread has only gotten about 24% of the Forum members that have received their Solstice. But quite a few of those posted to that thread with their very first post. So it was and continues to be successful in getting some members' data.
Also, FYI, of the First 1000, we had 240, or 24%.
