The dealer should give you one if you didn't get it with the car.

First of all you don't NEED a front license plate bracket the car looks a million times better without it. I have a brand new one sitting in my garage. Send me the cash for postage and a box and you can have it, but I would check with teh dealer first since it should have come with the car anyways.

If you live in a Front License Plate required state ... then the dealer is required to provide that with the purchase of the vehicle IIRC.

Call your salesman and ask if perhaps he forgot to include it with your packet.

Good luck and welcome to the Miles of Smiles!

If you don't want the ugly pontiac plate and you have a GXP, this is a great option.

Fold away license plate

Thanks for the replies.

I bought the car used (5,600 mi) in PA and live in RI, a 2 plate state. The salesman told me they did not get the bracket when it was traded in for a Hummer.

That flip up thing looks great. Will the gxp rubber facia support it?

Morfious, I may take you up on your offer, thanks.

BTW, my new car has all the bells and whistles, except red stitching. I just got it home Fri. night and put it in the garage. It won't get out until the spring, but I am psyched. I have only driven a few miles (brought it back in an enclosed trailer). My previous 3rd car was a 1997 Porsche 911, but I think this one will be more fun. It looks sooo good, mean yellow. I am ordering the hardtop on Tuesday.

I have been lurking here for quite a while.

Thanks again,

Paul

drivers side offset plate mount

I designed an offset front plate mount that looks great. Total bolt-on without drilling any holes in facia. No loss of ground clearance like with the folding ones and it's rugged 6061 aluminum. I've sold 40 so far. only 18 left. Let me know if anyone needs one.
